listened to this as a triple feature last night, alongside Sonic Coaster Pop – SUPER MIRACLE CIRCUIT (2004) and Plus-Tech Squeeze Box – CARTOOOM! (2004)…
- coming from super miracle circuit, this felt downright spartan. and, with how influential this was on me, it felt like i was given incomplete information to work from…
- estrellita made me want to rename emery’s username from estellaria to this. it’s just nicer, while fitting with the same theme, and the fact that it can be read as estro-lolita fits with her character too
- the way that [ai]‘s main pad picks up what feels like a convolved reverb on the filter up that leaves a smear in that frequency as it filters back down is pretty kanpeki
- our xenopittan came away as the standout from this mini-album. they put so much into it! and imo it’s the only track on here that approaches the layering of a socopo track
- it’s also just a super catchy song all-around
