thoughts on all of usagi-chang, at this point
- YMCK: they made a niche and rocked it. i think they deserve their success
- Sonic Coaster Pop: the sound here is perfect and crystalline and would be classified as a controlled substance. i want there to be more of this exact tincture, yet i find it hard to imagine how it could develop…
though i have ideas - Misswonda: it’s hard to know what her ambitions were here, with this as a solo project. i want to listen to her other album before i make up my mind fully, but i loved wonderful tangent so this isn’t a huge ask
- The Aprils: normal beauty / affinity bias. but i’m glad they stuck around for a bit
- Macdonald Duck Eclair: they’re the most netlabel-sounding group on here. their production sounds cheap, their arrangements sound haphazard, and the only song of theirs which fully melts me is one that i love despite its flaws. i’m glad they’re doing their thing, though, i guess
- PINEam: to be decided, though i don’t feel especially motivated to track down that last ep

- Plus-Tech Squeeze Box: genuinely, honestly, better songwriters and producers than most people will ever be. actual mad geniuses
- micro mach machine: i can appreciate them
- EeL: who is she?
- Motocompo: kinda cute for what they are but aren’t much more than that
