Sometimes in life, there’s the one you want to love, and there’s the one you feel like you should love, but you notice that you spend most of your time with someone you just feel comfortable around and decide that she must be the one you love most. And other people will tell you that you “can do better,” and that you’re “settling,” but I don’t think that’s settling at all. I think that’s just them trying to sell you a more prestigious unhappiness that mirrors their own.
