omg this is the cutest thing ever…
and people hated this why?
it’s just fluff! it’s a cute story of a girly-looking boy and the young man who finds him irresistible – as he should. the only real drama here is inexplicable and rushed through, as the older guy hesitates when asked if he loves pico (as a boy?) so he runs away and chops off his hair and then he has to find him again. but that gets resolved within the day anyway.

i’ve heard the idea of porn with plot, and i’ve read and watched at least a handful of things like this, but i feel like this is the first one of those that i’ve watched where there is a genuinely solid storyline!
or maybe the episode bookending with the sister masturbating again – compelled to by the two boys just like how the boys first started because they saw her – is doing a lot of the work to make me feel this way.
(although, in all honesty, those few scenes of her touching herself near the end aroused me more than any of the other stuff the boys were doing… maybe i’m somewhat-fixed in my sexual priorities that way)

i’m a bit unsure about the level of reality that this story takes place in…
like where even are they? they’re in the middle of this metropolis, but where are all the people? the arcade is fully-functional but nobody else is in it; in one scene we see a coaster in the background that repeatedly passes by with nobody on it. pico and chico don’t really seem to know how to navigate the city either until they meet coco, who seems to have a deep knowledge of it. the whole thing feels really dreamlike, but that’s kind of appealing too.
there’s also coco herself, who has a whole domicile in the sewers that disappears once she gets pissed at them and leaves. maybe there’s something about her that’s in control of this world, as while her being named coco and having the role of guiding the other two around means the writers get to make a lot of ここ puns, maybe to be with her(e) is to be here – to be home. and were i with them all i don’t know if i would ever want to leave here either.
(it is also made very apparent that coco is a trans girl, but the fansubber didn’t seem to pick up on this)
but then i could also ask the reality question about pico himself. is he some sort of sex fairy, traveling between universes like klonoa, spreading peace and joy with his eager holes? each scenario he’s found himself in feels distinctly different from the last, with the only recurring element being pico himself. and i can’t help but also think about that moment at the end of the episode, where he’s perched above the city, as if he’s fulfilled his purpose here.
i may be reading into this fetish hentai too deeply, but i still can find inspiration in it.
