★ ginga patrol!
★ bokura no ongaku. ok i can start to taste the subtle variance in their albums over time… pavilion was their most picopoppy (😍), geometrical ⁄ love had the strongest grooves and perhaps comes the closest to falling under the purview of edm, and here we have a type of pop that i most associate with the ’80s and ’90s, full of abrupt stings and a strong beat that the instruments get out of their way for.
★★ urahara rouge! am i gonna, through repeated exposure, end up loving them? because i find myself becoming more fond of their albums with each one i listen to…
★ soryuushi macrophage
★★ otona ni nattemo. would this have been influential on me at another time? then again, i never got as much into she as i feel like i should’ve, despite having a couple of their albums.
★ hoshizora bathroom. though even if i do end up liking them, i don’t think i’ll ever fall for them, like i have with more than a few picopop-adjacent artists. perhaps i don’t find this electro-aesthetic inspiring in itself, and there’s nothing in it that’s melodically-interesting enough to keep me coming back.
★ frontier has a yummy synth, and this is a pleasant melody to sink into
★★ happyspiral is fun
★ future boy, for the chorus
★ luminous way for the massive toms.

i pulled this one off slsk by someone who went by the username “RNG-”, and i can’t help but wonder if it’s the same rng who i knew many, many years back, and who i know was also a music fan. i could message him to find out, and it wouldn’t be hard to find out. i could just ask him if he used to be a fan of hellsinker. i could ask him if he used to be a fan of hellsinker too.
