using bases to make my life harder a little bit at a time, so that the benefits might be reaped “later.”
(when? well, later!)
★ riot orgel does have a pretty orgel sound…
★ morning anthem. at least i can try to appreciate this one for trying to incorporate melody, even if rubbing up against a static arp kinda destroys the impact and makes it feel eerie
★ white album vs robot
★ breakin’ dot music.
and then s.o.d falls into the same issue where it has something very and flexible and slams it against something that refuses to budge. like please… you can make something much more listenable if you’re willing to bend alongside it!
like now i’m thinking about mirawi – Earth Like -AIR arrange album- (2001). even though i don’t fully remember what it sounded like now, and i can’t seem to find it anymore, i remember it being heartrendingly beautiful because it was willing to bend with the song.
…
then again, natsukage has a heartrendingly beautiful melody by default, so any song which arranged it is already coming in with an advantage.
