i would say that this one is famous for exactly one reason, but it did get rereleases and remasterings even after that reason was taken away, so maybe it’s just famous to people like me for that reason.
though i think part of why i never listened to it was because i had a pretty good idea of what i was getting into, already. it wasn’t like lolita nation, where all i knew was that it wasn’t gonna be like what i expected and even then it wasn’t like what i expected. i knew this was going to be burnt-marlboro hard rock – the kind where the guitar tone has the ferric taste of bloody steak, the kind that my dad played from the cassette deck of his pontiac fiero. i wasn’t expecting to be surprised, and i definitely wasn’t expecting to be titillated, and on both counts i then wasn’t.
★ pictured life is alright i think
★ catch your train has a neat solo?
★ in your park
