Notes

in event of moon disaster v2

this album feels so liminal. so subconscious. half-remembered melodies permute themselves into various states and forms and then they dissolve before you can really remember them. some bring to mind songs which are too familiar for anyone to forget, like beautiful dreamer (crimine) and jesu joy of man’s desiring (06). others, like bruma, have only become memorable in retrospect.

as someone who frequently has hypnagogic hallucinations, i get the same feeling from this album that i get from the grammatical-yet-meaningless phrases i hear around 3 a.m. i write them out, i forget them, i reread them, and the alien phrases haunt me.
